Protests Breakout in Santiago de Cuba “Electricity and Food”
Residents of the Veguita de Galo popular council, in Santiago de Cuba, took to the streets on Sunday, March 17, 2024, under the slogan "current and food" and "homeland and life". Reports also came in of protests in Bayamo, in El Cobre and in Santa Marta, Matanzas.
